Sommet Center Games - When to be Where

Check out the logistic information for our games at the Sommet Center.

The following is logistic information for our games at the Sommet Center. 

 

Each team is requested to have their coach or manager contact Chris Harrington (Predators) at 770-7814 during business hours M-F proceeding their game. Chris needs to explain the importance of adhering to the timeline and remaining in designated areas. 

  

1pm Games

Home team supplies the scoresheet keeper

Home team faxes (1-866-947-4903) or emails (deborah.davis3@hcahealthcare.com) a copy of the completed scoresheet to Deb Davis, white copy can then be dropped off at the rink at your convenience.

Each team supplies a penalty box attendant

Predators supply the timekeeper

Game Logistics:

·         All participants must sign a medical waiver in order to participate (print, sign and BRING the form).

·         All participants in the game must be at the Main Entrance (5th & Broadway) to the Sommet Center by 12:00pm.

·         Any late participants Will Not be permitted to play in the game. This includes all coaches, referees, penalty box volunteers, and scorekeepers.

·         12:01- participants will be lead to the locker room area where they will change and meet with their teams prior to taking the ice.

·         Referees and female players will have separate changing areas.

·         1:00 pm - All participants will take the ice and start warm up.

·         1:05 pm – Game begins

·         2:45pm – 3:00pm – Game completed and exit from Sommet Center.

 

Fans will be allowed to enter the arena through the Main Doors at 12:00pm. Spectators will be asked to sit in designated areas (104-107 or 114-117). Concession stands will not be open during the GNASH game. Immediately after the GNASH game all fans will be asked to exit out the
main entrance. Spectators will then wait for players on the main concourse.

 

10pm Games

Game Logistics:

 

Participants Not Attending the Predators Game:

·         All participants must sign a medical waiver in order to participate (print, sign and BRING the form). 

·         Participants not in attendance must be at the Predators front office entrance (6th and Broadway) next to the police station by 8:30pm. These participants will then be taken to the locker room prior to the completion of the game. 

·         Any late participants Will Not be permitted to play in the game. This includes all coaches, referees, penalty box volunteers, and scorekeepers. 

·         All Players, Coaches, and Officials must be in their locker rooms by 8:55pm in order to clear the event level for NHL Officials.

·         The GNASH game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the Predators game. We estimate the game to begin anywhere from 9:45pm to 10:15pm. All participants must be ready to take the ice by 9:45pm.

·         Upon Completion of the GNASH game all players must change and exit the Arena in a timely fashion. 

                               Fans not in attendance will be asked to arrive after
                               the completion of the Predators game (approx
                               9:30-9:45pm). Once the crowd has left the arena,
                               parents and spectators will be allowed  to enter 
                               through the Main Doors. As they enter they’ll be 
                              directed to the specified seating areas.


Participants Attending the Predators Game: 

·         All participants must sign a medical waiver in order to participate (print, sign and BRING the form). 

·         Participants in attendance will meet at the Predators front office entrance (6th and Broadway) next to the police station by 5:45pm. 

·         At 5:45pm all participants will be escorted downstairs to store their bags so they will be able to enter the arena and watch the Predators game.

·         At 8:45pm all participants will meet back at designated location to pick up bags and head down to locker rooms. 

·         Any late participants Will Not be permitted to play in the game. This includes all coaches, referees, penalty box volunteers, and scorekeepers.

·         All players and officials must be in their designated locations by 8:55pm. So the Event Level is clear for NHL officials. 

·         The GNASH game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the Predators game. We estimate the game to begin anywhere from 9:45pm to 10:15pm. All participants must be ready to take the ice by 9:45pm.

·         Upon Completion of the GNASH game all players must change and exit the Arena in a timely fashion. 


                               Fans that are in attendance will be asked to move 
                               seats at the end of the Predators game. They will 
                               be asked to sit in certain sections so the arena
                               crew can begin clean up. The arena host will
                               make an announcement at the end of the
                               Predators game with the specific seating 
                               locations. The GNASH game will begin approx 30-
                              45 minutes after the Predators game.
