A Note From the Commissioner to All Coaches

From Commissioner John Holmes for ALL Coaches:

So far this season we have already had a coach get suspended for his actions. I just got another report from the officials citing more incidents of coaches arguing calls and being abusive. I want to ask everyone to take a deep breath and get a handle on why we are here. What type of example are we showing these kids when the adults are getting so upset? Please focus on coaching kids and accept that things are not perfect and all calls are not going to be made they way you think they should be made. Life is not always fair and if we as adults lose control, that is what the kids are going to do as well. I am going to respond to the officials and tell them that GNASH as a whole supports the Zero Tolerance rule and they should hold coaches as well as players accountable for their actions. If this means handing out game misconducts, then so be it. Please help turn things around so that this is not an issue for the future. Thank you.
