The referee association for GNASH (TAIHO) will be taking goalie pad measurements for each goalie on all GNASH teams beginning Monday October 12th through Friday October 16th Referees will be at the rinks at various times during assigned GNASH ice on these days.  Every team must bring a printed copy of the attached GNASH equipment measurement form for each goalie on their roster and make it available to the referee performing the measurements.

After completion, each team should make a copy of the completed form for their records to keep on the bench during all GNASH games. The original must be turned into the GNASH registrar no later than the October 20th GNASH board meeting. A copy of each teams form(s) will be made available to all teams via the GNASH website.

  1. Any opposing coaches questioning goalie equipment must make it known to the referees prior to start of the game. The officials will only check if the opposing coach makes the request.
  2. If a goalkeeper not wearing the same equipment that has been documented (borrows a catching glove, blocker, etc.) the coach of the goalkeeper must make it known to the opposing coach as well as the referees prior to the start of the game at the start of warm ups. If no GNASH documentation is available confirming this equipment meets specifications, the official will take the necessary measurements.
  3. It is the responsibility of each individual team to coordinate with the referee association any measurements for equipment changes during the season 48 hours prior to your next game. Any changes to the form on file with GNASH must be communicated to the opposing coach and the GNASH registrar at the time of this measurement.
