Age Specific Modules to be completed by Dec 31, 2011

UPDATED TO CORRECT SPREADSHEET LINK

Listing updated 12-18-2011 - only 11 days to get these requirements completed

Dear GNASH Coaches:

As you are aware, USA Hockey's Coaching Education Program has adopted new education requirements. One major change is the additional requirement of completing the online age-specific module for the age level of play you are coaching. All GNASH coaches must have completed the 16/18 & Under (Midgets) module and have current certification by December 31, 2011 in order to finish coaching this season. Coaches who fail to meet these requirements will not be eligible to coach after January 1st.

We realize some of our coaches also coach at other levels. You must complete a module for each different age level you are coaching. All modules must be completed by December 31. The Modules will be TURNED OFF on December 31st and WAIVERS WILL NOT be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS!

The estimated time to complete this module takes from 5 – 7 hours. You are able to start and stop the modules throughout the process. You may access the required Online Age Specific Modules at the following link.

The attached spreadsheet contains a listing of all teams, coaches, CEP #, CEP Level, CEP Expiration Date, and Age Specific Module (Midgets) Status. The particular area a coach needs to address by 12/31 is highlighted in red. This spreadsheet will be updated weekly up until 12/30/11. If you have additional coaches for your team that are not listed or a coach listed is no longer with the team, please notify me ASAP.

As a reminder, teams may only have a maximum of 4 coaches on the bench.

Thank you for being an integral part of the GNASH Hockey family and for making the commitment to become the best possible coach you can be.

Mark Layne
