South wins the 2012 All-Star Game

The All-Star Game was played Wednesday evening, February 22nd at the Centennial Sportsplex.

After two periods of play, the game was tied 2-2.  The third period was a scoring frenzy.  The South score 4 unanswered goals in the first have of the period, bringing the score to 6-2.  The North was not to be out done, and scored 3 quick goals, bring the score 6-5, with 2 minutes left in the game.  The North pulled their goalie, in the hopes of a game tying goal, but was unable to make it past the South's defense.

The MVP of the All star game was Corbin Pefanis (Ravenwood) with 2 goals and 1 assist.
